Dancers Boutique will be open for seven days a week during September! Starting on the 5th, we will be opening between the hours of 11am-4pm every Sunday.

The Bloch Spring Collection has arrived! Gorgeous new leotards in black, teal, damson and slate with lovely detail on the back and different straps that are perfect for students, adult ballet dancers and teenagers looking for something different. We also now have the popular Mirella leotards in stock.

Congratulations to our competition winners! Lucy Garrett and Benjamin Willis have won our latest competition and a £25 voucher to spend at Dancers Boutique. Lucys review was about the first ballet she has seen, Swan Lake and Benjamins was about his theatre trip to see Joseph and the Amazing Techni-coloured Dreamcoat. Both reviews will be displayed in the shop. Thank you to everyone that wrote a review - watch out, we will be running another competition next term.

Kathryn Bull from The Beaconsfield School has just finished a very busy weeks work experience with us. She worked very hard and did exceptionally well, getting involved with buying, merchandising, selling, window dressing, stock management and shop floor duties - she has even designed her own gymnastic leotard which is being made and will be in stock in the next few weeks. Thank you Kathryn and well done!

Welcome to Georgina! We have a new colleage at Dancers Boutique. Georgina is studying for her A levels and dances at the Maggie Monk School of Dancing and plans to continue her dance studies in September when she goes to university. We are delighted have another enthusiastic team member with a passion for dance at Dancers Boutique.

MORE SNOW!!! We are unfortunately closed today (Tuesday) - we are snowed in as I'm sure many of you are too. I intend to try and get to Amersham tomorrow (Wednesday). We haven't had any deliveries since last Thursday and will call any customers who are waiting for items to arrive tomorrow. To all our customers, sincere apologies and take care.

Strictly Dance Shoes will be attending Jiving at the Queens in The Queens Square, Hemel Hempstead on saturday 31st October for Boxmoor Beat's Halloween Party. We will be selling a huge selection from our comprehensive range of shoes and look forward to seeing the regulars and new faces alike!

We have taken Strictly Dance Shoes on the road! We were made very welcome by Boxmoor Beat in Bucks and Comet Jive in Hatfield, Herts, who recently invited us to go along to one of their brilliant class nights to sell a large selection from our adult dance shoe range.
We had a great night and are looking forward to seeing them again for Jiving at the Queens in The Queens Square, Hemel Hempstead on the 31st October for Boxmoor Beat's Halloween Party and again in December with Comet Jive in Hatfield (venue shown below).

We have just heard about a new local ballet school starting in Beaconsfield. The Beaconsfield School of Dance will be run by Fiona Grotefeld, who will be teaching RAD ballet, ISTD modern and adult dance classes. Have a look at our Schools/Classes page for more details.

As of today, we have upgraded our website. The layout has been changed with page links located at the top rather than down the left side, as some people using Windows Internet Explorer may not have been seeing the page as intended! In addition, we have added some great photos from our grand opening on Saturday which has created a real buzz in the local dance community.

We had a fantastic evening on Saturday when Vincent and Flavia came to officially open our new shop. We were delighted that so many of our customers came along to see them and have their photos taken with the stars.

Edward Scissorhands... the Amersham and Wycombe College production of this show was fantastic. It was brilliantly staged and very well performed. I look forward to seeing more productions in the future!

I went to see the pantomime at the Elgiva theatre on Saturday. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was great, I took my four year old nephew who was 'almost too excited to watch' and he loved it. Well done to all the local dancers, your hard work paid off and I'm sure you all had great fun doing the show.

Paula from Dancers Boutique recently saw the Castle Street Dance Studios’ performance at the Wycombe Swan. It was a truly professional production; original and exciting choreography, enthusiastic and talented dancers and an extremely ‘slick’ show. Well done to Charlottte, her teachers and dancers and thankyou for such an impressive and entertaining show! The wait is over! The BBC has announced the line-up for the lastest series of Strictly Come Dancing. Big names include pop singer Rachel Stevens and British Olympian, Mark Foster. In previous years the contestants have worn Freed shoes, of which, Dancers Boutique has many of the actual styles used on the show. Dancers Boutique has now re-opened and what an amazing week it has been. With a lot of planning and a huge amount of hard work from family and friends, the heavily refurbished Dancers Boutique looks fantastic. We hope you'll come and see the new lines of stock as well as our new look.

Dancers Boutique, with it's 25 year history of serving the local dance community see's a new owner. Paula Nye has had a long history in the dance world and has worked with the previous owner for many years and is looking forward to directing the shop in an exciting new direction.
