Who we are

We're delighted to welcome you to our dance community at Dancers Boutique.

Dancers Boutique was first established in Amersham in 1981 and has a special place in the hearts of many local dancers and families.

The shop is currently managed by its fifth owner, Maddy Carroll, who strives to make it a warm and enjoyable environment for every dancer, regardless of age or experience.

    Maddy started working at Dancers Boutique at just sixteen years old, and just kept coming back!

    After working part-time at Dancers Boutique for six years, Maddy worked in marketing for brands including Freddie’s Flowers and Saga Travel, before becoming CRM Manager at The Royal Ballet School.

    Maddy could not be more delighted to return to Dancers Boutique as Owner. Her favourite part of the job is meeting all the young dancers and sharing their enthusiasm. She also loves picking out all the new products she knows our Dancers Boutique customers will love.

  • Evie

    Evie joined the team at Dancers Boutique in January 2026.

    Evie has been dancing for 10 years. She bought her first pair of ballet shoes at Dancers Boutique when she was six years old and has never looked back.

    Evie enjoys fitting customers with their first pairs of dance shoes and sharing in their excitement. She is looking forward to helping dancers find what they need and working with such an amazing team.

  • Lola

    Lola joined the team at Dancers Boutique in January 2026.

    Lola has danced since she was three years old and has danced a range of different styles as well as getting her GCSE Dance qualification.

    Lola’s favourite part of working at Dancers Boutique is being a part of people’s dance journeys and finding them their perfect shoes.

  • Molly

    Molly has worked at Dancers Boutique since 2021.

    She is now undertaking a Musical Theatre course at Italia Conti but can still be spotted at Dancers Boutique in the holidays making her customers’ days that extra bit brighter.
